Semester Reflection

I like doing these little semester reflections.... It gives me perspective on all the baby steps I've taken over the past five months.

So, let's see.

2 parties (but actually, I literally only went to two parties)

1 winter training trip, where we almost froze to death.

1 visit by Sporty Sister

1 really great internship with College Fashionista

Lots of warm days!

Lots of outfit coordinations with Little V

1 Valentine for Kate Spade
(woo!)

5 classes
1 missing eyebrow
1 week of midterm hell
0 Television, lots of books instead

This might not have been the best semester academically (although, we'll see...), but I loved every single one of my professors and classes (eep, except management science... too much excel).  I learned so many things about myself, what makes me tick, and what really and truly motivates me.

As I wrap up this semester and head into, gulp, my senior year... I can't help but acknowledge how different I am than when I started freshman year.  And I like it.

  7. Who cares if she only went to two parties? She obviously has a great head on her shoulders and is very successful by hanging out with her friends rather than partying/drinking. Keep up the good work Carly! You are an inspiration to girls everywhere. You make girls see that it is possible to do the impossible with how successful you are :)

  8. it is possible to be successful, happy, AND have a social life. play hard, work hard. no one likes an uptight priss anyway.
