Chai Tea

We're on the cusp of October and November.  Perfectly autumn.  It's finally (more consistently) chilly here in DC.  In addition to scarves and boots, this can only mean one thing for me: Chai teas.

(Please don't hate me, but I like pumpkin... but not pumpkin spice lattes.)

On especially dreary (or stressful) days, I swap out a typical coffee with a chai tea and instantly my day is transformed.

I stumbled on this recipe on Some More Please for Vanilla Chai Cupcakes.

I wish I had the time and resources to make these right now... but it's probably a good thing since I'd likely eat the entire batch.  At once.  By myself.

xoxo

  11. I'm a black coffee drinker -- but on an especially bad day, I'll for sure splurge on a skinny vanilla latte with an extra shot. They're my kryptonite.

  12. I'm drinking homemade pumpkin spice coffee right now, but I've always been intrigued by chai...I'll definitely have to try it soon, especially since it's finally getting "cold" here in Texas.

  16. I'm not a fan of the pumpkin spice latte or chai tea...but when I mix a bit of pumpkin spice coffee creamer INTO a chai tea, well, that's a whole new world. One of my go-to drinks for Autumn and Winter.
