Pamper Yourself Head to Toe

After a long week of packing and moving and all around schlepping. for the big NYC relocation, I’m exhausted. Not just, tired… completely exhausted!
I definitely need some good ole fashioned rest and relaxation. To be honest, I’d love to go have a “spa day,” but I’m pretty sure spas in general freak me out. I would much prefer to relax and unwind in the comfort (and privacy) of my own home.
I like to take time every now and then to pamper myself. I tend to do one thing, but by all means, you could gather a bunch of girlfriends and make an evening out of this.
How to Pamper Yourself from Head to Toe:
Hair | I personally have zero patience for leave in conditioners or crazy “product.” Instead, I would opt for the Mason Pearson hair brush. It’s definitely a splurge, but you can use it every morning and night. Consider it a daily luxury.
Face | You cannot go wrong with Kiehl’s. Every product is definitely worth every penny. Whenever I’m stressed (like this past week), I tend to skimp and cut corners while doing my nighttime and morning routines. I skip steps like moisturizing! This always leaves my skin super dry by the end of the week. The Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer helps correct the drying, and even has SPF!
Lips | To feel a little bit more glamorous, trade out your lip balm for Bobbi Brown’s “Treatment” Lip Shine. You get the pretty color… plus a ton of other great side effects. The lip stick is packed with SPF, cocoa and shea butter, avocado oil, Vitamin C, and more! Do you lips a favor and treat yourself at the same time.
Bralette | The Honeydew Intimates Polkadot Bralette is just pretty. How could you not feel good in it?
Scent | There is just something about perfume that feels pampered. I don’t wear it every day, so when I do it feels like an extra special occasion. Even if you wear perfume often, switch out your usual “signature” scent for something different. I have no idea what this Anthropologie perfume actually smells like, but it has to smell good… I mean, look at the gorgeous bottle 😉
Candle | If you have an irrational fear of fire like I do, skip the candle. But if you fall into the rest of the population who doesn’t mind a small flame, I think candles are a must.
Nails | As I’ve mentioned multiple times this summer alone, I’m seriously addicted to painting my nails. It’s a little luxury, but it makes me feel like a million bucks! Treat yourself to a new color. Unlike a manicure at a salon, when you buy a bottle you can use it over and over and over again. You can get a few bottles of the Butter London polish for the price of one manicure at a salon.
Bath | Have 30 minutes to spare? You have to shower anyway, so why not take a little extra time and make it a bath? Draw a bath, dim the lights, and soak the stress away. Use something like the Laura Mercier Honey Bath to achieve the extra relaxation you need deserve.
Body | The body oil by Fresh is… fresh. Unlike other oils, this one is fast absorbing and has a pleasant scent. Even if you’re running out the door and don’t have time for a lot of pampering this will do the trick. Use it instead of your regular moisturizer to step things up a notch!
What do you do to pamper yourself? Any specific products I should test?
xoxo

I thought i was the only one with a fear or candles! Lighting them scares me and i can't let them be. I have to watch them like a hawk and blow them out whenever the flame rises above my "comfortable flame height". Anyway, great post, ill make sure i follow this list next time i relax and unwind (minus the candles).

Light Moroccan oil! So easy to put one pump of oil in your hair at night, and it smells delicious. My favourite thing about Moroccan oil is that it manages to keep your hair shiny and nourished without looking greasy or like you have used any product.

I've used Mason Pierson hairbrushes since I was little and they, seriously, is nothing that can compare. They're expensive but totally worth it! The difference they make on your hair is unreal!

I usually treat myself with day-getaways, but I like these suggestions for small doses of pampering at home. May be stealing some of these ideas when I finish my move-in process in two weeks.
