Confession: I have been wearing the same thing just about every single day this summer. It's borderline pathetic. Florida is extremely hot and there are just some days when I have absolutely zero energy to put any thought into what I wear. If I don't post my outfit on Instagram, this is pretty much what I am wearing. (Like today, for instance.)
These hot pink chino shorts (on sale right now!!!) are the best thing since sliced bread. I try to wear them only once a week, but I generally end up wearing them at least two times! Can you blame me? They're so perfect.
They go great with plain tees, chambray tops (my personal favorite), and camis/blouses when you need to look a smidge nicer.

ReplyDeleteSince I have to go into an office every day, unfortunately I can't wear shorts. (Although I live in Texas, I totally would!) Our dress code is pretty casual, so I normally wear a cotton dress with a J. Crew cardigan and wedges!

I have those same shorts! And yes... it's too hard to limit myself to wearing them only once a week. They're my summer uniform!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who basically has a summer uniform. I don't really wear much of my cute summer clothing unless I'm going out for the day/night because otherwise it is way too much of a hassle. Those shorts are adorable and, based solely on the pairings you put together in the set, they seem very versatile. Definitely the right thing to have as a staple in your wardrobe.
