preppy belts

Clothes for the summertime are way, way easier in my opinion. You can just throw on a cute dress and instantly, you’re cute and good to go. With winter clothes here, the only thing I’m typically thinking about when I’m getting dressed is layers. Layers, layers, and more layers.
The last thing I’m thinking about is accessorizing. Even my daily stacks have fallen into a routine. I am deciding that I want to be better about accessorizing. I’m not one to wear a million and a half bracelets lined up both of my arms in addition to chunky necklaces. But, I would like to be a little bit better about at least putting effort into accessorizing. I already have plenty of bracelets, bangles, and watches to work with
I would like to get a few new belts. I’m terrible about remembering to put one on. Especially since I’ve been wearing jeans so often, I think belts are a quick way to add a different touch. Nothing really that groundbreaking here.
Where should I begin?
Where do you pick up your favorite belts? What accessory do you want to add to your wardrobe?

xoxo

I love every one of these belts! Especially the mint one. I usually get my belts from Nordstrom 🙂 xo-ally

I really really love that braided belt from J.Crew! Also, that skinny bow belt is so cute. I usually look for my accessories at Forever 21 or online.

Scarves and hats have been my go to accessories lately. They keep me warm and can add fun color and texture to my outfits.
I really like that mint belt!

your neon belt choices are phenomenal! I am so excited to go to grove city in a week and plan on stopping into Fossil and Ralph Lauren to look for a new braided belt. however, these might inspire me with some bright colors! so excited to have found your blog and hope you stop by mine!

I'm having the same problem! I would go with the skinny bow to start, its super cute and would match a lot of things in this yucky winter weather.
