wonderful saturdays

I love Saturdays as an “adult.”
I logged an extra long day at the office yesterday. Christine Hassler hosted a goal setting workshop in the office and it was amazing! It was really great to see her again, get some goals set, learn a little bit more about meditation (cannot wait for her meditation CD!), and see some NYC friends. A few of us stayed extra late cleaning up and sitting around talking. Both digesting and dissecting what we learned and sharing some new developments in our personal lives.
By the time I got home, it was late and I stayed up even later with energy I didn’t realize I still had. It’s nice to be able to just lounge and sleep extra late! I stayed in bed watching Sarah’s Key in the morning. Such a sad movie!!

I finally got to catch up with one of my friends from Georgetown over an extra long lunch. Many, many cups of coffee were poured!!!
It was really wonderful.
I did have to make an unpleasant trip to to the grocery store. I’ve determined that the grocery store is always crowded no matter what time of day and no matter what day you go! I typically would absolutely never go on the weekend, but we’ve decided that we’re going to try to make/bring our lunch every day to work… This should be interesting!
I’m catching up on some emails, tying up some loose ends, and reading with a big bowl of popcorn!!
How was your Saturday?

xoxo

What an adorable winter outfit! My saturday was relatively low-key, just working on my blog and trying to keep warm 🙂

That movie is REALLY sad. I love lounging on Saturdays. My husband is about to travel for a week…so we spent the Saturday declutering.

Love the outfit. It was spent running errands and doing things around the house. Now to watch a movie on netflix.

Strangely, becoming an adult and living on my own has been pretty awesome so far! Yesterday I spent all day driving back from my (original)home to my (new)home.
Today I've taken all day – 12.5 hours – to get unpacked and reorganized. But it feels so good.
Oh, and I love the outfit! 🙂

I absolutely love Christine Hassler. She spoke at SEPC (Southeastern Panhellenic Conference) multiple years ago. She gives the best advice. I have her books but haven't finished them.
