Must Have Summer Sandals

As much as I love having some fun heels to wear to work and to go out in, I have been seriously loving being able to wear sandals! Maybe it’s because I’ve been wearing heels much more frequently that my feet now rejoice when I slip into sandals.
Because storage in my apartment is tight (how do I run out of space with two closets?) in my apartment, I keep all of my flat shoes in giant buckets that slide underneath my bed. Even with this nifty hidden storage, I’ve been wearing the same sandals so frequently, that they pretty much permanently are in a pile by my door. I try so hard to put them away every night, and it really feels like I’m constantly putting away shoes… yet, there they are. In a pile. By my door. Without fail.
It’s funny because in Florida, I used to wear these shoes year round. Now, I relish the days that are warm enough for exposed toes!
Here are my favorite “must have” summer sandals:
Jack Rogers Navajos | I wear Jacks everywhere and with everything. Whether I’m donning a Lilly shift dress for brunch or throwing on a pair of running shorts for a quick trip to the pharmacy. They’re basically a staple. The true sign of summer sinking in is when you’ve 100% broken in the sandals… and your feet.
Lilly Pulitzer McKims | These are a beautifully glorified flip flop. They’re super comfortable and look great with casual dresses and patterned shorts. They come in tons of colors so you can find one to go with just about anything.
  J. Crew Braided Flip Flops | I really dislike wearing rubber sandals… especially around the water. (Too slippery!) But I never want to wear my nicer sandals to pools or to the beach. The rubber sandals are perfect from J. Crew. (I have a pair of critter flip flops with bulldogs!) The braided pair is just oh-so-summery.
  J. Crew Espadrilles | These barely-there-wedges are great for when you feel like you need to have a little bit of height, but want to give your feet a break. My friend has these and I have seriously been coveting them!!!
What’s your go-to pair of sandals during the summer?

xoxo

The strap is removable but they might sit awkwardly since the back heel part has nothing to be held down by.

I wear my Jacks everywhere – that is, when I'm not swearing espadrills or Sperrys. As a New England girl, I completely understand your feelings about sandals!

I found some really cute sandals at Burlington Coat Factory. They have great deals, so I saved about $30 on my new shoes and they are so comfortable. I just love them.
