I believe that a girl can never have enough tote bags. Some girls may collect makeup or high heels, but my closet is absolutely overflowing with totes. Bags for work. Bags for travel. Bags for long weekends and overnights. Bags for nights out. Bags for running errands.

I particularly love Cinco Powell’s new classic monogrammed totes. I saw samples of the bags a few months ago and practically begged for one. (Really though.) The tote bag is one of the only totes I can recall that can transition into so many different roles.
One day, I used it as a handbag while I ran errands in the morning; threw my laptop into it for a cafe work session; and then swapped out the laptop for a change of shoes and an outfit for an event. The versatility is totally rooted in the size: small enough where you don’t look like a bag lady (even if you secretly are… #likeme) and big enough to fit the true essentials (like your laptop and iPad).
