Remember when I said that the Merino Pocket Tunic sweater was going to be the it item in my closet this fall? It’s already proven to be true.
The weather has certainly shifted. It was downright cold this morning. (A trench coat and a brisk pace were absolutely necessary!) I am reluctantly putting away my shorts and summery blouses, but if it means that I can cozy up in sweaters then I guess it’s okay.
I was feeling super lazy while getting ready and opted for this comfortable look for work. I couldn’t really fathom wearing anything but something comfortable. This sweater did not disappoint.

I had to pop back inside and grab a North Face fleece this morning when I stepped out onto Georgetown's cobblestone streets – I wasn't expecting this much of a chill so soon!
Oh well, if it sticks around I can break out my tights and scarves later this week! 🙂

Just ordered the leather pocket merino sweater and I cannot WAIT for it to get here. It was chilly here in DC today, but not quite cold enough for a jacket, so know this sweater will be perfect for the next few weeks! I definitely can't wait to layer a button down underneath it!

It definitely did get colder in New York after the weekend, but then I stepped off the plane in London and it is freezing here! Skip trench coats and straight to to winter coats..!

I love that sweater! It's definitely not cold in Memphis… it was 92 today! We're going to be down into the mid-to-lower 80's next week though, and I can't wait.
