Oh my goodness. I have turned into one of those people. You know, the ones who dresses their dogs up and (omg) matches them. Here’s my justification on it though: it’s getting really cold in NYC and I walk around with Teddy a lot. (He’s still too young to walk on the sidewalks– New York is apparently too dirty for puppies according to the vet.) Plus, he does look quite dapper in tartan. The fact that we match is just a bonus.
Mackenzie and I were doing a holiday shoot with Tuckernuck this afternoon (more on that later!) and we popped into the Barbour store on the Upper East Side because, well, just because.
I couldn’t walk out of the store without a tiny tartan coat for Teddy!

I love his coat! That is too cute! My little dog has some sweaters and coats for the winter too…I never thought I'd be "one of those people" either, but she's so small she needs something on plus little dogs look really cute in coats!

Teddy is just way too adorable for words! Seeing him in that coat makes me want to impulsively adopt a toy poodle puppy right now. I don't think my cat would like that very much though, haha.

That is the cutest!! And no worries about dressing him up – we used to put coats on our cocker spaniels because we lived in Maine and it was too cold for short haired dogs to be out in the cold without anything to protect them!
