Casual

Murfee Scarf

I’ve been getting kind of stuck in a comfortable, super casual look rut lately. Wearing jeans every day seriously one of my favorite parts about working from home. Maybe it’s made me even a tiny bit lazy when it comes to getting ready in the morning… whoops!
The Lilly Pulitzer Murfee scarf is always something I’ve wanted, but never got for whatever reason. Lilly sent me one and…. um, it’s perfect. I don’t have many scarves and I think I was intimidated to wear them, but now I think they’re the best things in the world. Instantly adds a little something extra to an otherwise simple outfit.

Lilly Pulitzer Murfee Scarf (c/o) // Lilly Pulitzer Dress (super similar!!!) // Monogram Necklace
(I think the monogram necklace peeking out from the scarf is so fun too…)
I did a basic little loop, but there are tons of ways to tie the scarf. I’m definitely going to have to play around with the different styles. Lilly Pulitzer has a great style guide on their blog.
What’s your favorite way to style a scarf?

xoxo

That print is SO pretty – what's it called? One of the people at my local Lilly store showed me a cool variation on the "doubled up" style – you start the same way, but then put only one of the ends through the loop, then twist the whole thing 180 degrees and then put the other end in!

I love this idea! I'm definitely stuck in my cozy clothes rut right now, but I have a ton of scarfs. It's such a cute way to add some color to a simple jeans and t-shirt look!

I'm totally into The Loop and The Triple Tuck. You're so right: scarfs totally make simple outfits that much more special and put together.
