I’m going to just come right out and say it, I love this outfit. I don’t know if anyone else is like this, but I have an image in my head (or, you know, my Pinterest board) of how I want to dress. But every morning, I reach for my trusty, perfectly worn in jeans. My flats that are a bit scuffed but feel like slippers. And the first sweater I can find. Do I feel comfortable in the outfit? Yes. Do I feel confident? Sure, but not from what I’m wearing…
This outfit though? I felt like a different person! Completely chic without compromising on comfort.
It has everything tried-and-true that I love: tartan, bows, cashmere, skinny jeans. And a couple of things I, in my mind, feel like I could never pull off namely statement earrings and a cape.
But it all came together so nicely. I want to wear it every day! The cashmere topper is absolutely beautiful and luxurious. It would look just as great over a dress for a little extra warmth.
The heels would definitely be an option for an evening event or meeting and I loved the pop of color… but for most of the day I was in ballet flats. Still felt just as put together.
I love that the clutch has that bow! It’s a must have in my opinion.
And last but not least… the tassel earrings. These are an updated version on the fully beaded tassels. I’ve eyed them since they first came out but always found them too, too heavy for my ears. The pair I’m wearing is unbelievably lighter and more comfortable.
