Five Beauty Products

I have been trying a lot of new products over the past few months. A few have stood out and have made their way into my everyday routine. I love hearing which products and tools my friends use so I thought I’d share the things that I really can’t get enough of.
Curling Wand | After watching a few Youtube videos with wands, I decided to give it a try. I thought I’d hate it and was picturing myself burning my fingers like crazy. Instead, I became obsessed with the loose, precise curls that it created! It took a few tries to get used to, but I have gotten a lot better with it. I’m going to be doing a post soon with the two different ways that I curl my hair with it.
Although I got the one with the three interchangeable barrels, the 25mm one is by far my favorite for big curls. I’d recommend just getting the 25mm version instead of the interchangeable.
Kiehl’s Super Fluid | This isn’t a new product, but I’ve rediscovered it from spending so much time outside in the sun. This is by far my favorite sunscreen for my face. I use it every day and keep it with me wherever I go. (It’s the perfect size to keep on hand in your purse!)
I thin it’s different than other sunscreens, even facial ones, in that it’s very very very smooth. It goes on lightly while still getting full coverage.
Zoya Madison | I was getting my nails painted at a spa in Florida earlier this year and tried the Zoya nail polish. I am obsessed with how it looks. If you’re a fan of Essie Ballet Slippers, I think you’ll like Zoya’s Madison. It is a little sheer but still pink, so it has a nice neutral manicured look. It’s what I’ve been wearing on an everyday basis.
Neutrogena Lip Balm | My best friend got me hooked on this lip balm. It has the perfect amount of color, but it still feels like a lip balm. I apply it a few times a day whenever I’m out and about for a little bit of pop on my lips. I personally love it over a lipstick because it’s super easy to maintain throughout the day. It doesn’t get on your teeth, it doesn’t bleed past your lips, and it doesn’t awkwardly fade into a messy look.
Dry Shampoo | I’ve tried a few different dry shampoos over the years and never really got it. They always made my hair feel greasier and grosser than it would be if I just left it alone. I got this while visiting Alison Brod PR and let me just say… I don’t know how I survived without it. I think the trick for this one is to spray throughout your roots in sections and then to let your hair dry completely. (I especially love that it gives my hair a bit of a boost volume wise too.) I typically apply my makeup while it dries and then brush through my hair. It works like a dream. It’s also a great product to use if you braid your hair and struggle to get it to stay throughout the day– it gives my hair a great hold!

Have you tried anything lately that you love and recommend?!

xoxo

I'm just like you were when it comes to the curling wand – I'm so sure that I'm just going to end up burning myself. I might have to give it a try though since you like it so much,

Use the glove a few times to get used to it without burning yourself (Trust me!!!) but then try it without because I think it's actually easier to curl without the glove!

After years of spending $$$ on the Kiehl's face creams, I discovered Air Repair's moisturizer (sold through Birchbox and at Target)–$20 for 2 oz. and it leaves my skin so smooth! My skin drinks it up like no other, and I think it may be because there are no gimmicks–it's just a hydrating facial cream.
